Confused about HD-TV Quality on Blu-Ray @ 1080p?
I checked out 2 Sony Televisions, the image on the W-Series http://reviews.cnet.com/flat-panel-tvs/sony-kdl-46w4100/4505-6482_7-32815337-2.html?tag=txt;page was like being on the set of the movie it was incredibly clear, never seen anything like it.
The image on the other one http://www.amazon.com/Sony-Bravia-KDL-46XBR2-46-Inch-1080p/dp/B000H6I7EI was good, i mean it looked clear, but the detail was not the same.
Both TV’s were playing the same movie in the same store.
I want to buy a HD-TV but i really want to know what feature (or combo of features) is making the other TV look so good??
The second set is an XBR2, a lower-level version of Sony’s video processing. The second has the latest video processing and should be superior. I think you have judged the sets correctly. Video processing enhances the apparent sharpness of the picture.
