What is the difference beetween a hd ready tv and a full hd tv?
I am planning on buying a hd tv. But what is the difference between a hd ready tv and a full hd tv?. Will they both show my ps3 in hd?

Typically something that’s labeled "HD Ready" lacks an ATSC (aka digital) tuner for OTA HD programming (i.e. with an antenna). This is one of those terms that’s incredibly nebulous and means different things to different people.
Check the specs. If it supports a 1920×1080 resolution, it’s what most people would call a "Full HD" or "1080p" TV.
